Retrieving Lost License Keys

In order to retrieve your lost license key, contact support@recoverymechanic.com with some or all of the following information:

  • Product Name

  • Your e-mail address at the time of ordering

  • Name under which a license was issued

Getting the Most of Technical Support

Typically, our technical support team will ask you questions to provide an appropriate advice. You can help us assist you better by providing as much of the following information as possible in your first email:

  • Your version of Windows

  • Types of files or documents you are planning to recover

  • Type of storage media you'll be recovering (e.g. hard disk, USB drives, external storage, memory cards, digital cameras, etc.)

  • If you know the file system (FAT or NTFS) on that media, please specify

  • How long ago the data loss has occurred
